The organizer of Da-bang concert Amit Purohit clarifies the Gutthi and Dadi controversy

Mumbai, February 17th, 2016: Several reports have been claiming that Colors TV channel have sent a legal notice to Comedy nights with Kapil actors Sunil Grover aka Gutthi and Ali Asgar aka Dadi barring them from performing in Salman’s Da-bang concert in Surat.

In light of this recent controversy, the organizers of the concert, Entex Global have issued a statement clearing their stance on this issue. Amit Purohit, CEO, Entex Global said, “Considering the notice issued by colors to Sunil, Ali and my company - Entex global, we have learnt from Ali and Sunil that they are not going to use any IP related to colors or any other channel, the show has them in Gujarati female avatars and the names are different, hence no resemblance of character or infringement of IPR. We look forward to host a great show and entertain thousands of fans.” 

Da Bang Live concert will be held on 19th February, 2016 at DRB Sports Complex, Surat and hosts star-studded performances from Chitrangada Singh, Elli Avram and Lauren Gottlieb, singers Neha Kakkar and Nakash Aziz. The show will be hosted by the witty and hilarious Manish PaulSalman Khan has never performed live and he is all set to set the stage on fire with his dazzling performance at the event.
