Three Indian women runners Neelam Rajput, Supriya Patil and Priyanka from an economically less privileged backgrounds participated in their first ever international half marathon in Pattaya today supported by Milind Soman and Tourism of Thailand.

Three Indian women runners Neelam Rajput, Supriya Patil and Priyanka from an economically less privileged backgrounds participated in their first ever international half marathon in Pattaya today supported by Milind Soman and Tourism of Thailand. They have been winners of the 21km category of Pinkathon, India's biggest run for women.

Neelam Rajput stood overall second in the race and first in her age group with 1:32 timing for HM and Supriya Patil has finished third in her age group with 1:45 for 21km in very hot weather conditions. Milind Soman also ran the 21 kms half marathon along with the girls to cheer and motivate them. They ran to promote Pinkathon which focuses on health & fitness for women and spread breast cancer awareness.
 This is their first ever international travel. They are grateful to Pinkathon, Milind Soman & Thailand Tourism for fulfilling their dream
A very proud Iron Man Milind Soman said on the girls' achievements "Pinkathon is the first event to take up such an initiative to give international racing exposure to gifted woman athletes who have participated in the Pinkathon in various cities. It is our endeavour to further support & promote the cause."
