Sonam Kapoor, Govind Nihalani and children of Plan India celebrate seventh anniversary of Palladium

Palladium celebrates its seventh anniversary with the gorgeous actor Sonam Kapoor and the children from the NGO - Plan India

Mumbai, 13th ​ October 2016: Palladium, the country’sforemost luxury and lifestyle destination, celebrated itsSeventh Anniversary today with their annual tradition of gifting a percentage of sales proceeds to a befitting NGO that works with children. On 26th September 2016, Palladium had hosted a memorable day of shopping where it pledged 5% of their sale proceeds to Plan India for the education of underprivileged children. Sonam Kapoor accepted the cheque of 10 lakh rupees on behalf of Plan India.

The event began with the children of Plan India communities who expressed their artistic colouring skills, across two larger than life canvasses installed in the Palladium Atrium. Well-known artists like Jai Ranjit, Anand Panchal, Ananya Banerjee, Kunal Naik, Om Swami and Gauri Seth supported the children in creating the canvas. Sonam Kapoor too enjoyed viewing the colourful and vibrant art and joined in with the children in creating the colourful canvas.


The celebration continued at the Palladium Atrium where an entertaining Q&A session was conducted with the children from Plan India and Sonam Kapoor. Nicknamed “Coffee with Palladium & Plan India’,turned out to be quite an interactive session where thechildren asked Sonam some trivia about her childhood and experiences as a girl. The children had a roaring time and it was heart-warming to see Sonam Kapoor engagement with them.

Gracing the occasion Mr. Rajendra Kalkar, President (West) The Phoenix Mills Ltd said “Palladium has built up a large fan following of loyal shoppers over the last seven years. It gives us immense satisfaction to see all our patrons shopping so wholeheartedly to support our charity initiative each year. The Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai will be holding the 53rd Postal Pension Adalat for pensioners/family pensioners of Postal Department on 29th Sept 2023 at 11.00 Hrs, in the Office of Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai -400 001.
