Solar Street Lights installed by Wonder Cement

Udaipur, 3rd August 2017: Mr. Nitin Jain (VP – Commercial), was acknowledged on behalf of Wonder Cement Ltd. by the Sarpanch of  Phalwa Gram Panchayat in a ceremonial function, for Solar Powered Street Lights installed by Wonder Cement.  Mr. Jain was greeted with rajasthani bandhej saafa at the function which took place at Wonder Cement Community Hall.

Wonder Cement Limited installed 40 solar powered street lights with the latest technology including auto operate sensors, lithium battery charging etc. These are installed at road, common places and choupals of four villages including Phalwa, Dhanora, Malya Kheri and Palri. These street lights will benefit 4200 people of 900 families. 

On the occasion, Mr. Jain motivated the villagers for regular care taking. He also explained the benefits of solar street lights and how they will offer free movement without any fear during the dark hours of night. Children can study under solar powered street lights in case grid supply is unavailable, without any recurring cost to users.

Academically most strong students of Govt. Sr. Secondary. School were felicitated on this occasion with prizes of dictionary. Mr. Jain along with guests planted saplings under Wonder Green Initiative. Sarpanch Sambhu Lal Jat, along with other elected representatives, applauded the commitment of Wonder Cement for holistic development of the surrounding villages.

Pension Adalat

The Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai will be holding the 53rd Postal Pension Adalat for pensioners/family pensioners of Postal Department on 29th Sept 2023 at 11.00 Hrs, in the Office of Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai -400 001. Grievances regarding pensionary benefits pertaining to those who retired/died while in service from Department of Posts, Pensioners of Postal Department, Maharashtra and Goa States, which have not been settled within 3 months, will only be entertained in the Postal Pension Adalat.  Cases involving purely legal points i.e. succession, Notional pension, TBOP/MACP Promotion, stepping up of pay and disciplinary cases involving policy matters and cases pending for review of DPC will not be considered in Pension Adalat .  Pensioner should forward their grievance individually (not in bulk or on behalf of others) in triplicate in the proforma attached to Accounts Officer, Pension Adalat, O/o Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtr
