This Independence Day, The Westin Mumbai Garden City redefines freedom in association with Toybank

Mumbai, 14^th August 2018: This Independence Day, The Westin Mumbai Garden City redefines the definition of freedom by partnering with Toybank - an initiative under The Opentree Foundation that promotes the Right to Play for all children. Highlighting the ‘Play Well’ pillar which is among the brand’s 6 pillars of Well-being, The Westin Mumbai Garden City is all set to ignite a spark and spread infectious smiles through a generous toy donation drive.

The two brands collaborate to promote their vision of a world where all children are empowered through healthy play; which goes on to create a positive impact in the lives of underprivileged children and thereby, the society at large.

In an extensive collection drive, the hotel is also reaching out to children from across prominent schools from the neighbourhood. Through this initiative, the hotel aims to collect more than 500 toys which will then be donated to Toybank.

Culminating on 15^th August 2018, the hotel will host a few members from Toybank who will be present for a celebratory brunch at The Westin Mumbai Garden City. This special Independence Day brunch will be an opportunity also for guests to lend a helping hand and donate quality toys, old or new to the well deserving children. Acceptable toys such as soft toys, cars, board games and puzzles will be more than welcomed.

The full value of joy is best received when you have someone to share it with. In celebration of Toybank’s 14^th birthday which falls on the 18^th August, 2018, associates from The Westin Mumbai Garden City will volunteer and distribute toys to individual kids reaching out to almost 800 kids.
