Tridhaatu Run Santa Run receives a tremendous response from Mumbaikars

·        Over 3000 runners participate in the fun 2k run

·        Cheque of Rs. Fifty Thousand handed over to Make-A-Wish Foundation

Mumbai, December 17, 2018: Tridhaatu Run Santa Run 2018, the Christmas theme based family Run received a tremendous response from Mumbaikars. Over 3000 runners participated in the fun 2k run with children running alongside their parents. Participants across all age groups took part in the fun run with great gusto and fervor. The run was flagged off by Mr. Yashodhan Sandu from Our Lady of Perpetual Succour School (OLPS) Ground, Chembur at 7:30 am. A cheque of Rs. Fifty thousand was handed over by Mr. Yashodhan Sandu to Make-A-Wish Foundation India; an organization that helps grant wishes of children suffering with life-threatening illness.

Prior to start of the run an enthusiastic young and energetic crowd could be seen warming up in anticipation of the fun 2k Run. In keeping with the theme of the Run, participants were seen dressed up as either Santa, an Elf or as Snowman.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Dhananjay Sandu, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Tridhaatu Realty & Infra Pvt. Ltd said, “We are happy to see children participating in such large numbers. Today, we find children glued to mobile games, watching television or indulging in unhealthy food habits. Such an event like Run Santa Run instills a sense of healthy living bringing forth the spirit of family bonding and charging the festive mood. Various performances by children at the event help to build confidence and stay socially connected with one another.”

A carnival was organized at the venue, where children on completion of the run enjoyed themselves, to an array of free games, rides and other fun activities, along with their family and friends. The venue was dressed in its Christmassy best with Santa making an appearance, spreading cheer and laughter among all the young participants.
