Upgradation & Beautification of Radhakrishna Temple ,Sankhali, Goa

Sankhali,Feb23: The foundation stone was laid on Friday (22nd Feb) for Goa Tourism projects for upgradation & beautification of Radhakrishna Temple in  Sankhali  by Hon’ble Speaker,Goa Legislative Assembly & Mla , Sankhali Constituency, Dr.Pramod Sawant  along with the Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Mr. Manohar Ajgaonkar

Also present were Chairperson, Sankhali Muncipality, Mr. Dharmesh Saglani, Ward Councillor, Mr. Dayanand Boryekar , President ,Radhakrishna Devasthan, Mr. Anil Kanekar, officials  of  Goa  Tourism and  others.

The Rs 5.03 crore tourism infrastructure development projects at Radhakrishna temple and Vitthal temple will be carried out by Goa Tourism Development Corporation.

The  development work proposed  at  Radhakrishna temple is to develop the outer premises  by providing facilities such as pavers ,benches ,compound wall, railing, drinking water facility, dustbins, landscaping, illumination etc in an area of 3500 Sqms to make it  more tourist friendly  where as the  development work proposed  at Vitthal temple is the paving and illumination to be done in an area of 2700 Sqms.

Pension Adalat

The Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai will be holding the 53rd Postal Pension Adalat for pensioners/family pensioners of Postal Department on 29th Sept 2023 at 11.00 Hrs, in the Office of Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai -400 001. Grievances regarding pensionary benefits pertaining to those who retired/died while in service from Department of Posts, Pensioners of Postal Department, Maharashtra and Goa States, which have not been settled within 3 months, will only be entertained in the Postal Pension Adalat.  Cases involving purely legal points i.e. succession, Notional pension, TBOP/MACP Promotion, stepping up of pay and disciplinary cases involving policy matters and cases pending for review of DPC will not be considered in Pension Adalat .  Pensioner should forward their grievance individually (not in bulk or on behalf of others) in triplicate in the proforma attached to Accounts Officer, Pension Adalat, O/o Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtr
