Viacom18 Motion Pictures Backs Poshter Girl

Marching on with the motto of producing differentiated content - this time in the regional space, Viacom18 Motion Pictures is all set to produce upcoming Marathi film ‘Poshter Girl’ - an entertaining social satire.

Boasting an ensemble cast of actors Sonalee Kulkarni, Jitendra Joshi, Hrushikesh Joshi, AniketVishwasrao and Siddharth Menon - this film is directed by Sameer Patil. Acclaimed music director Amit Raj will be composing the music for Poshter Girl, a contemporary tale set in a quaint village in Maharashtra.

Elaborating on the same, Ajit Andhare - COO, Viacom18 Motion Pictures said, “Marathi Cinema is finding greater appeal with support from exhibitors and broadcasters. The Marathi audience has always relished content led cinema. With our strong record in the Hindi and English segment we would like to make a mark in this very important segment of regional cinema. Poshter Girl script combines entertainment with a very relevant message and we are very excited about it.

Director Sameer Patil further added saying, “I feel deeply satisfied that my second film ‘Poshter Girl’ is being produced by ‘Viacom18’ a well-known established film production studio and Chalo Film Banaye. I am overjoyed and feel that my responsibility, in the true sense, gets bigger with this opportunity.”


The film will go on floors on August 5, 2015.

The Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai will be holding the 53rd Postal Pension Adalat for pensioners/family pensioners of Postal Department on 29th Sept 2023 at 11.00 Hrs, in the Office of Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai -400 001. Grievances regarding pensionary benefits pertaining to those who retired/died while in service from Department of Posts, Pensioners of Postal Department, Maharashtra and Goa States, which have not been settled within 3 months, will only be entertained in the Postal Pension Adalat.  Cases involving purely legal points i.e. succession, Notional pension, TBOP/MACP Promotion, stepping up of pay and disciplinary cases involving policy matters and cases pending for review of DPC will not be considered in Pension Adalat .  Pensioner should forward their grievance individually (not in bulk or on behalf of others) in triplicate in the proforma attached to Accounts Officer, Pension Adalat, O/o Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtr
