Karan Johar Presents his Exclusive New SS16 Collection for Gehna Jewellers

To celebrate 30 years of Gehna Jewellers, Sunil and Kiran Datwani of Gehna Jewellers hosted a special preview with Karan Johar at Escobar, Bandra to unveil the latter’s exclusive Collection for Gehna Jewellers. 

Being a leading jeweler since 30 years, Gehna Jewellers have their roster of guest designers featuring distinguished personalities from all walks of life. For the momentous occasion of their 30th anniversary, Karan Johar has designed a special and exclusive collection.

The evening was a lavish affair by Gehna Jewellers for their friends and premium clients. The evening was presented by RJ Mallishka, hosted a reverse quick witted  ‘rapid fire’ round with Karan Johar, followed by another one with Sunil & Kiran Datwani in the hot seat. This was followed by a stylish fashion walk through by all black models posing as statues. Featuring a range of jhumkis and chandelier earrings in diamonds, uncut diamonds and emeralds, the models in all black ensemble and faces  showcased the new SS16 line by Gehna  for  guests over martinis and champagne.

Guests admired Kiran Datwani's jewellery especially armlet  from the new Gehna SS16 line.

Evelyn Sharma looked gorgeous as she adorned Gehna Earrings studded with diamonds, black diamond studded  in 18 Kt white gold. Karan Johar and Sunil Datwani wore edgy skull shaped Gehna lapel pins studded with diamonds set in 18 kt rose gold from the men's jewellery line.

Karan known for his dramatic yet elegant aesthetics brings his refined vision to Gehna jewellery this season. Featuring jhumkis and chandelier earrings in diamonds, uncut diamonds and emeralds, the collection echoes a traditional charm with a contemporary appeal.
