5 reasons why you should watch Kung Fu Panda 3 over Ki and Ka this weekend!

It is all about Hollywood v/s Bollywood this weekend and the verdict is out! The two movies running in the theatres are Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor starrer Ki & Ka, and the 3D animated Hollywood movie Kung Fu Panda 3. If we go by the opening and the response each film has received Kung Fu Panda 3 emerges as the clear winner!!

Here are 5 reasons we feel you should definitely go watch Po fighting off the baddies over Ki & Ka that fails to deliver its “broad-minded”, “new age” message:

Animation v/s Fiction: Okay so every young at heart cine-goer knows that animation wins over Bollywood drama any day! Watching Po in action fighting evil along with the ‘Furious Five’ in 3D wins hands down over R. Balki’s emotional potboiler

Po v/s Kareena Kapoor: Because admit it Po the Panda is cuter than Kareena Kapoor! Even the ribbon dancer Mei Mei who bats her eyes every time she meets Po is more pleasing to the eyes than the tough corporate look of Kareena

Po v/s Arjun Kapoor: The hilarious antics of Po trying to teach martial arts to his panda army is more entertaining than sitting through Arjun Kapoor trying to be adorably romantic with Kareena

The panda doing martial arts v/s the stay-at-home husband: Obviously it is more exciting to see a well-rounded panda throwing in some kicks and punches and fighting off hoardes of enemies than watching… a well-rounded husband whose sole joy in life is to stay at home and serve his wife. So Boring!

Oscar nominated franchise v/s the mismatched pairing of Kareena and Arjun: So on one side we have a movie belonging to an Oscar nominated franchise, with a stellar star cast comprising of Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu and Kate Hudson among others. On the other hand a combination of Kapoors does not necessarily mean it is a successful one! Kareena and Arjun do not fit the bill of a hard hitting corporate honcho and her unambitious husband, and fails to impress the audience altogether

The Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai will be holding the 53rd Postal Pension Adalat for pensioners/family pensioners of Postal Department on 29th Sept 2023 at 11.00 Hrs, in the Office of Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai -400 001.
