Tribute to Pacham Da with ‘Punch of Pancham’ by Anupam Ghatak

Mumbai, 14th April 2017: The 5th Note organized their 3rd show within first 5 months of their company with its new theme “The Punch of Pancham” by Anupam Ghatak with his musician troop of 22 played hits and raunchy numbers of Pancham Da on the 14th April’17 at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi which took the audience to the retro era of Bollywood. All the music lovers are aware of the punch, the kick we get when we hear Pancham Da’s Chadti Jawani and Dum maaro Dum. Anupam Ghatak and team constantly strive to get a fresh and new concept keeping in mind to keep the main essence of the song with a twist. 

Songs like Dum maaro Dum sung by Chetan Rana, Alok Katdare and Shailaija Subramanian, One two Cha cha cha a 14 minutes session sung by Shailaija with Latin beats and twist with Anupam Ghatak and Samit Pednekar, Brass section by Blasco Monsorate Trombone, Shyamraji (Tenor Sax) and Robin Fargose (Trumpet) was loved by the audience.

“The idea is to create the same opulence with a twist, specials and impromptu piano sessions to engage the audience but still sticking to the roots also playing songs that are gems and less known by people” says Mr. Anupam Ghatak. With 22 musicians, 10 rhythm musical instruments and 5 melody, and brass instruments; The 5th Note gave its audience a wonderful evening they wished for.  “The 5th Note within 5 months organized 3 shows with full houses which tell us that this form of art will be cherished by all Retro Bollywood lovers. It is the support from our audience who especially come from different places just to watch Anupam’s show” said Mrs. Geeta Tawdde.

Music Arranger Mr. Anupam Ghatak, who has been active in the music industry for over 3 decades has come up with his team to reminisce the soulful tunes and bring back the timeless era. He says that his success to The 5th Note is because of his team members who have faith in him and stand by his side. Together they brainstorm ideas to bring out the best music to its audience so that they can have a memorable evening. The previous shows organized by The 5th Note were house-full and a big success and they will be having some exciting and new things will be unique and different from others which is why one should save the date for this show. Anupam Ghatak has performed over 5000 stage shows nationally and internationally. He has accompanied the artists like Asha Bhosle, Shankar Mahadevan, A.R.
