Satya Paul Celebrates Diwali in London

Satya Paul –
India’s premium design label with an international presence, opened the much-awaited Pratham UK
gala 2017, on 14th October at The Landmark Hotel in London. This is the
second season of Satya Paul’s association with Pratham, India’s largest
education NGO, established to improve the quality of Indian education.
The
fashion show was witnessed by many influential personalities and celebrities
like Mrs Neerja Birla, Director – Pratham Foundation India and also the Guest
of Honor of the evening, Mr Sanjay Kapoor- Managing Director - Genesis Group,
critically acclaimed Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari, singer and wellness
entrepreneur, Raageshwari amongst
many others. The show’s finale ended with Gurinder Chadha, the maverick award winning film
director & Sudhanshu Swaroop,
one of the youngest QC’s and a human right crusader walking the ramp supporting
Satya Paul & Pratham for the noble cause.
At this
splendid evening Satya Paul presented a fusion of fashion showcasing two of its
signature collections, ‘Ramayana’, the exclusive Diwali edition, the
saga of love, friendship and bravery, an exemplar of the victory of light over
dark, and ‘Banaras’, the Autumn-Winter collection which celebrates the
vibrant & spiritual India and its essence.
‘Ramayana’
includes three different looks
The
Rama Saree:
Lord Rama is a symbol of righteousness and defined moral, power and bravery,
humbleness and honesty. Almighty, the warrior prince with a soul of fire and
his strong character is visible in the play of colors in the saree
The Sita
Saree:
This saree is our depiction of Sita, who is elegant, delicate and a symbol of
beauty.
The Ramayana Saree:
The tale of love, friendship, righteousness, resilience and fight for justice,
right over wrong, and the voyage of a being going through the tests of life
towards achievement and celebration is the inspiration of this saree.
An
attempt to capture the true essence of India that flow through the spiritual
city of Banaras, celebrating its vibrancy through architecture, rustic Ghats at
the banks of the Ganges and the intricate motifs and textures found in famous
Banarasi fabrics.
The
collection offers an exclusive line of embroidered range, which draws
inspiration from our rich heritage. The use of meticulous zari and resham embroideries
combined with innovative techniques of foil brings out the traditional charm in
designs that are classics and elegant in the brand’s signature style.
Soft, diaphanous fabrics like fine georgettes, crepes and a variety
of satin and cotton blends provide superior comfort and are perfect for the
season. Use of tradition silk weaves along with intricate embroideries; bring
