Kokuyo Camlin partners with Cartist to promote ‘Automobile Art’
Mumbai,
November 17th 2017: Kokuyo Camlin, leading stationery and art materials marketer in
the country; partners yet again with Cartist to promote Automobile Art. Kokuyo
Camlin has been associating with Cartist since its inception in 2015.
Cartist was started as an idea of creating `Art for People’.
Cartist
will be showcasing the `Cartist Yatra’ across major cities of India. The
Yatra is scheduled to cover 10 states across 12 cities. The four-day camp of
the Cartist Yatra in Mumbai is being held from November 16th to
November 19th 2017 at Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum, compound.
Cartist will facilitate engagement of 100 local artists from each city making
it a total of 1000 artists from all over India. Out of these 1000 artists, 200
selected artists will join Cartist at Jaipur for Cartist Automobile Art
Festival 2018 from February 22nd to 24th 2018.

An
interesting component to Cartist Yatra 2017-2018, will be the inside-out
designing of shipping containers into artwork. Visitors will witness for
the first time the transformation of shipping containers (20-40 feet) as work
of art. There will also be workshops held on Regional Art and Culture. To add
to the fun, there will be musical and a cultural night for the participants by
invitation. Art Camps involving local artists on painting, sculpture, mixed
media, drawing, and glass, digital art scheduled to be held.
