India Post released a Special cancellation & a pack of Picture Postcards on the theme saluting the youth icons of Maharashtra and Goa on 12th August 2022 i.e. international youth day

On the occasion international youth day, Maharashtra Postal Circle released a Special cancellation, a pack of Picture Postcards on the theme saluting the youth icons of Maharashtra and Goa. The Chief guest for the event was a Arjuna Awardee Smt. Lalita Babar. Speaking on the occasion Chief Postmaster General, Smt. Veena Srinivas, emphasized that nurturing the youth icons is vital for creating social capital in todays globalized world. Shri Amitabh Singh, Postmaster General (Mails and BD), Maharashtra Circle stated that Youth is the future of our nation and honouring the youth icons creates new opinion makers in the society. Smt Lalita Babar spoke about the importance of sports in keeping up with a healthy life style.

Pension Adalat

The Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai will be holding the 53rd Postal Pension Adalat for pensioners/family pensioners of Postal Department on 29th Sept 2023 at 11.00 Hrs, in the Office of Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai -400 001. Grievances regarding pensionary benefits pertaining to those who retired/died while in service from Department of Posts, Pensioners of Postal Department, Maharashtra and Goa States, which have not been settled within 3 months, will only be entertained in the Postal Pension Adalat.  Cases involving purely legal points i.e. succession, Notional pension, TBOP/MACP Promotion, stepping up of pay and disciplinary cases involving policy matters and cases pending for review of DPC will not be considered in Pension Adalat .  Pensioner should forward their grievance individually (not in bulk or on behalf of others) in triplicate in the proforma attached to Accounts Officer, Pension Adalat, O/o Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtr

10/10/2023 ( Tuesday ) :-The Vittiya Sashaktikaran Diwas is being celebrated on 10th October 2023 as a mark of celebration of Postal week. The Dak Community Development Program ( Dak Choupal ) has been organized in 113 locations all over Maharashtra with active participation of all stake holders from Central, State and Local Government bodies. The Dak Community Development Program ( DCDP ) aims at bringing all Welfare schemes of Central Government, State Government and Local authorities at one platform exclusively for beneficiaries. It also includes raising awareness among the members of public about all prevalent schemes and the means to avail such benefits. During the Choupal , Maharashtra Circle opened 9387 Accounts of SB various categories. Also, POSB quizzes were organized for the customers, agents, GDS and Departmental staff  at 33 locations in Maharashtra Circle. 951 participated in the POSB quiz competition held.
