PANAAH 2015 KICKSTARTS WITH THE SOCIAL EVENT

‘PLAY FOR A CAUSE’
K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce, Charni Road launchesits inter-collegiate festival, Panaah with the social event, “Play for a cause” - a fundraising Box Cricket Tournament. Our aim was to make the children suffering from cancer feel special. The funds collected from the same have been donated to the ShriGadge Maharaj Mission Dharamshala Trust, an NGO which works for the betterment of the Cancer patients and their families.
The event was graced by Mr. Anil Desai, MP, Rajya Sabha, Mr. Pandhurang Sakpal, Vibhag Pramukh, Shiv Sena, Mr. Narendra Rane, Chairperson, Siddhivinayak Trust, Mr. MahendraPansare, President of NCP’s Colaba Unit, Ms. Meena Naik, API, Mr. Utrekar, API V.P. Road, Dr. T. A. Shiware, Director of Education, Smt. PD Hinduja Trust, and Ms. Jayshree Shetty, Vice-Principal, K.P.B Hinduja College of Commerce. Our special guests were the children from Shri Gadge Maharaj Mission Dharamshala Trust.
Student cricket enthusiasts from different colleges across Mumbai participated in the event making it a huge success.The event witnessed participation from a total of 52 teams.A total of Rs. 25000/- was raised in the span of a few hours. A cheque for the same was handed over to Shri Gadge Maharaj Charitable Trust.

Panaah - the annual inter collegiate festival of KPB Hinduja College of Commerce caters to hone students’ talent in the field of sports, cultural activities and literary arts. Our organizing committee played a great role in successfully launching the second edition of Panaah, under the guidance of Principal, Dr. MinuMadlani and, Convener Panaah, Dr. AntaraSonawane. Panaahis scheduled to take place from 27th to 30th November 2015.

Pension Adalat

The Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai will be holding the 53rd Postal Pension Adalat for pensioners/family pensioners of Postal Department on 29th Sept 2023 at 11.00 Hrs, in the Office of Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai -400 001. Grievances regarding pensionary benefits pertaining to those who retired/died while in service from Department of Posts, Pensioners of Postal Department, Maharashtra and Goa States, which have not been settled within 3 months, will only be entertained in the Postal Pension Adalat.  Cases involving purely legal points i.e. succession, Notional pension, TBOP/MACP Promotion, stepping up of pay and disciplinary cases involving policy matters and cases pending for review of DPC will not be considered in Pension Adalat .  Pensioner should forward their grievance individually (not in bulk or on behalf of others) in triplicate in the proforma attached to Accounts Officer, Pension Adalat, O/o Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtr

Vittiya Sashaktikaran Diwas

10/10/2023 ( Tuesday ) :-The Vittiya Sashaktikaran Diwas is being celebrated on 10th October 2023 as a mark of celebration of Postal week. The Dak Community Development Program ( Dak Choupal ) has been organized in 113 locations all over Maharashtra with active participation of all stake holders from Central, State and Local Government bodies. The Dak Community Development Program ( DCDP ) aims at bringing all Welfare schemes of Central Government, State Government and Local authorities at one platform exclusively for beneficiaries. It also includes raising awareness among the members of public about all prevalent schemes and the means to avail such benefits. During the Choupal , Maharashtra Circle opened 9387 Accounts of SB various categories. Also, POSB quizzes were organized for the customers, agents, GDS and Departmental staff  at 33 locations in Maharashtra Circle. 951 participated in the POSB quiz competition held.
