Vishwashanti Sangeet Nritya Samaroh – 4th Edition
This year Vishwashanti
Sangeet Nritya Samaroha which will be held on 24th February 2019, Sunday 5 pm
Onwards at Upvan Amphitheatre, 2, Upvan Lake Road, Thane (West). This festival
of Indian Classical Dance was started by renowned Kathak dancer Mrs. Mukta
Joshi in 2015, who also happens to be the founder of ‘Nrityadhara Kathak
Research Foundation’. This program is an amalgamation of Indian dance and music
traditions. Renowned artists from all
over India come together to perform at this event. The program is designed to
carry forward these treasures of the Indian culture of dance and music to the
next generation. Vishwashanti Sangeet Nritya Samaroha in the past has been
graced by eminent personalities from music and dance fraternity like Gaan
Saraswati Late Shrimati Kishoritai Amonkar and Pandit Bhavani Shankarji.
This year
‘Nrityadhara Kathak Research Foundation’ has come up with this unique concept
of presenting India’s all seven classical dance forms on one platform in one
day itself. The highlight of this program is that detailed information about
each style of dance form will be explained during the performance. The
performers are known personalities in their respective dance forms. They are as
