  1.   Maharashtra Postal Circle celebrated Swachhta Pakhwada during the fortnight from 16.11.2018 to 30.11.2018 various Swachhta activities carried out during the Pakhwada. 2.    On 16.11.2018 Swachhta pledge is taken by all the staff in all Post Offices in the Circle. All the staff have taken pledge that they will remain committed towards cleanliness and devote time, at least 100 hours per year ie 2 hours per week towards voluntary work for cleanliness. 3.   During the Pakhwada , many iconic places like Juhu Choupati in Mumbai , Sewa Gram in Wardha , Zero Mile Stone in Nagpur, Shahu Smarak Bhawan in Kolhapur, Sarasbhag in Pune City etc cleaned by performing Shramdaan by postal Staff .Shramdaan was also carried out at public places such as Bus Stands, gardens , Public Roads etc . 4. Sluggish Diwali Turn Wholesalers To Online Excess Inventory Marketplace

Mumbai:  A disappointing Diwali coupled with tightening liquidity and negative macro conditions have led a record number of wholesalers to turn to online excess inventory marketplace this year. Sales, online excluded, were down by almost 40 per cent compared to previous years resulting in a sharp spike in transactions in B2B portals. Excess2Sell.com, India’s largest online marketplace for ageing assets, saw a 70 per cent surge on its platform and mobilized close to Rs.12 crore worth of piled up merchandize in two weeks post Diwali. “Post the festive season build-up arrives a phase of deceleration. Supply chains plan for a bullish season and work on the presumption that as much as 30 per cent of annual sales will be crossed during this period.
