The fitness revolution in India got a kick start with huge success of the BodyPower Expo India 2015.
Mumbai: Asia’s largest sports, fitness and nutrition exhibition , BodyPower Expo has been a huge success. The much awaited event took place at the Bombay Exhibition Center (BEC), Goregaon, Mumbai on 21 and 22 March 2015. Many international and worldwide popular bodybuilders such as current Mr Olympia, Phil Heath , the legendary and king of bodybuilding, Ronnie Coleman , IFBB PRO Roelly Winklar , Ricardo Correia hiked the enthusiasm at its best, with their presence. Witnessing the footfall of around 25000 people, the expo provided a great opportunity to the leading sports, fitness and supplement brands such as Omtex , EAS , Optimum Nutrition, Neulife , BSN etc to exhibit themselves. Bollywood trainer Kris Gethin and international prep coach Nathan Harman were also among the main highlight of the event.
Sections like ‘The Academy,’ sponsored by K11 Fitness Academy, had an impressive line-up of speakers who busted myths, gave tips and shared their experiences in the fitness industry. Speakers likes Kaizzad Capadia (Director of K11 fitness academy and the man behind Aamir Khan’s Physique in PK ) , Suneet Sebastian were the centre of attraction of this section. The other sections like The Main Stage and The Workout stage were also occupied with the huge crowd because of the mind blowing entertaining activities such as Masala Bhangra , Zumba Dance and QnA sessions by the experts etc.
“BodyPower India Expo was huge success this year and it can be bigger than the one in UK, purely because of the size and scope that this country provides. We are looking to expand the concept in other cities too.” Said Nick Orton, CEO of BodyPower.”
