21st September, 2015 (Mumbai):e-xpress Interactive Software Pvt Ltd, a leading distributor of game software in India in association with Games The Shop, a leading game retailerand with the presence of Indian Super League’s Mumbai City FC team successfully settled the first qualifier of PES League – Road To Milan in Mumbai.
MrAniruddh Joshiwon the PES League Road To Milan qualifier, beating fierce competition and won a sum of ₹ 25,000, while,MrRitesh Mukherjeefinished, as the 1strunner up and won ₹ 10,000 whereas MrRohit Thakurearned the 2nd runner up title and received₹ 5,000.
The event proved to be a huge success as it attracted more than 70 players and much larger audience. While most of the players were from Mumbai, some came to participate from cities like Ahmedabad, Delhi and Pune.
Mumbai City Football Club players, which is the popular football franchise of Indian Super league in Mumbai; were also present to support their personal favorite soccer game – PES 2016. The players interacted with fans and spoke about their experiences of playing PES 2016-football video game. Speaking with excitement, Sunil Chhetri, Indian Football Team Captain, who also represents Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League said, “Pro Evolution Soccer game has set benchmarks in the football game series every year. We love playing PES Game as it helps, professionals like us to improve our skills. Konami has done a great job by getting the utter realism in the game for the players. We felt extremely fascinated to be here with the crowd and we look forward to see more PES Leagues in the near future”
