Madhur Bhandarkar’s hidden talent!

Mumbai, September 23, 2015: We are well aware of Madhur Bhandarkar’s talent with filmmaking, but what we bet you didn’t know is the director’s affinity with music. Madhur plays the piano and was seen playing one on the sets of his upcoming film ‘Calendar Girls’. Apparently he kept the cast and crew entertained with some of his favourite tunes.


A source close to the director revealed, “Madhur would have impromptu sessions during breaks. He used to play his favourite songs; it was a very fun environment.”

Set to release on 25th September, ‘Calendar Girls’ essays the story of five models, who go through various phases from fame to anonymity. It starsAkanksha Puri, Avani Modi, Kyra Dutt, Ruhi Singh and Satarupa Pyne in pivotal roles. Produced by Sangeeta Ahir’s Manglmurti Films, ‘Calendar Girls’ is directed by Madhur Bhandarkar.

The Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai will be holding the 53rd Postal Pension Adalat for pensioners/family pensioners of Postal Department on 29th Sept 2023 at 11.00 Hrs, in the Office of Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai -400 001. Grievances regarding pensionary benefits pertaining to those who retired/died while in service from Department of Posts, Pensioners of Postal Department, Maharashtra and Goa States, which have not been settled within 3 months, will only be entertained in the Postal Pension Adalat.  Cases involving purely legal points i.e. succession, Notional pension, TBOP/MACP Promotion, stepping up of pay and disciplinary cases involving policy matters and cases pending for review of DPC will not be considered in Pension Adalat .  Pensioner should forward their grievance individually (not in bulk or on behalf of others) in triplicate in the proforma attached to Accounts Officer, Pension Adalat, O/o Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtr
