SIP Academy celebrated its 16th Anniversary with a Tree Plantation & Awareness campaign

SIP Academy, has not only been creating mathematics geniuses rather is also aiming at creating responsible citizens for the country and thus they celebrated their 16th anniversary in an old age home in Vasai, where students spent time with 56 elderly women by planting trees.

Ms Sarala K- Head (HR & CSR) of SIP Academy said, “We have to ensure that our future generation is raised in a manner that they understand the value of conserving the environment. Today we decided to celebrate our anniversary over here so that kids can understand the value of greenery which is diminishing day by day. Also they have to learn the social value like care which they will learn by spending time with these elderly ladies.”
SIP aims to promote the following trees-
a. NEEM - protects our environment in flood control, reduced soil erosion and less salination.
b. AMLA – a tropical tree with great medicinal properties
c. MANGO - trees help to filter water, combat salinity, clean the air and increase flows into water catchments. They also provide food and shelter not only to humans but also to wildlife.
SIP has been planting trees every year and this year also they have planted 3500 saplings in 30 major cities along with 4000 SIP children
