Palm Oil: The Better Choice for Today’s Diet

~ Healthy Oil for a Healthy Heart ~ India, June XX 2021: Oil and Fats are used in daily cooking preparation to provide energy and to enhance the flavour of the food. Different oilseeds and vegetable oils as well as animal fats have served as a source for these fats. Among these, palm oil has historically been one of the most commonly used fats in the world. Palm oil is one of the 17 edible oils cited by Codex Alimentarius, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) as an edible oil suitable for human consumption. Palm oil contains 50% saturated fatty acids (SFAs), 40% monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) and 10% polyunsaturated fatty acids. Inauguration of Vaccination camp for Postal Staff

Covid-19 vaccination camp is arranged on 29.06.2021 for Postal Staff in collaboration with Cama and Albless Hospital at O/o the Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai.  The vaccination camp is inaugurated by Shri H.C. Agrawal, Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai in the presence of Dr. Tushar Palave, Superintendent of Cama and Albless Hospital, Smt Swati Pandey, Postmaster General (MR) and Shri Abhijeet Bansode, SSPO, Mumbai City South Division. In this COVID-19 vaccination camp, Covishield / Covaxin - 1 st & 2 nd jab is administered to around 550 Postal staff of Mumbai.

New Delhi.  In order to ensure that the right quantity of food grains are available to the beneficiaries under the Food Act, the Central Government on  Monday  in the Food Security Act rules with the aim of promoting the integration of electronic point of sale (EPOS) devices with electronic scales at ration shops. amended. The government has taken this step with the aim of increasing transparency in ration shops and preventing losses while weighing food grains for the beneficiaries. Under the National Food Security Act (NFSA), the government is providing five kilograms of wheat and rice (foodgrains) per person per person, at a subsidized rate of Rs 2-3 per kg, respectively, to about 80 crore people of the country.   Demand Allocation across marquee names with 6 Foreign Portfolio Investors, 3 Mutual Funds and 2 Insurance Companies   June 22, 2021:  India Pesticides Limited (“IPL”), a R&D driven one of the fastest growing agro-chemicals company and manufacturer of Technicals and APIs has raised Rs. 240 crores from 12 anchor investors a day prior to its issue opening. The company informed the bourses that it has allocated 81,08,107 shares at Rs. 296 per share on June 22, 2021 to anchor investors.   Six Foreign Portfolio Investors who participated in the anchor were Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), Wells Fargo, Plutus, Millenium, Tara and BNP Paribas. These investors were allocated a total of 24,49,335 shares for approximately Rs 72.50 crs.   Amongst the domestic investors, SBI Mutual Fund and Nippon Mutual Fund picked up the largest allocations of 27.08% and 16.67% respectively for approximately Rs 105 crs, across their various schemes.   Other domestic i...
