PM Modi's 12 Years Complete: India Becomes a Global Power, CM Devendra Fadnavis and BJP President Ravindra Chavan Call It a 'Rashtra-Building Era'
Mumbai, May 26, 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi completed 12 years in office. To mark the occasion, a special collectible issue titled "Tappurti of Nation-Building" was released by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the Ravindra Natyamandir in Prabhadevi, Mumbai. BJP State President Ravindra Chavan, Mumbai President Ameet Satam, Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, MLAs Niranjan Davkhare, Sanjay Kute, and Sunil Rane were present. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and BJP State President Ravindra Chavan listed the major achievements of PM Narendra Modi's tenure.
CM Fadnavis further stated that the work done by PM Modi over the past 12 years is so extensive and significant that it is difficult to summarize it in a single book. He has made continuous efforts to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach every person in the country. Major public welfare initiatives were taken through schemes like "Toilet in Every Household" and "Ujjwala Gas Scheme." The government adopted a poverty-centric development agenda, not relying solely on handouts. This has resulted in the successful lifting of 250 million people out of poverty in the last 10 years.
India's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was ₹103 lakh crore in 2013-14, which increased to ₹357 lakh crore by 2025-26, a threefold increase. Maharashtra's GDP increased from ₹13 lakh crore in 2013-14 to ₹54 lakh crore in 2025-26. This progress has been witnessed by the entire world. This development under Prime Minister Modi's leadership is not the result of mere announcements, but the result of a planned and development-oriented strategy.BJP State President Ravindra Chavan said that under the leadership of PM Modi, India is emerging as a strong nation, rapidly progressing towards becoming an economic powerhouse, empowered by digital technology, entrepreneurial, and centering women's empowerment. "Rashtra Nirman Ki Tappurti" is not just a collectible issue, but a living history of the transformation that has taken place in the country. He further stated that every Indian has felt the changes that have taken place in the lives of ordinary citizens over the past decade. This government has created a system that provides farmers, laborers, the poor, and the underprivileged with the opportunity to live a life of dignity. Transparent governance has ensured that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person. This has brought light to the homes of the poor, dignity to women, opportunities to the youth, and confidence to citizens.
This special issue presents the journey from "One India, United India" to "Developed India" in detail through 12 themes. It highlights topics such as national security, Antyodaya, youth empowerment, a matriarchal society, science, industry, and "Developed India 2047." It also documents India's role globally, its strong response at its borders, and its sensitive commitment to humanity in times of global crises. Ravindra Chavan also stated that "Tappurti of Nation Building" is not just a collectible issue, but a historical document of the transformation of New India.He concluded by stating that while some people practice penance through spirituality, others serve society through art and literature, PM Modi has dedicated himself to serving the nation. This is why he has emerged as a "national ascetic." This special issue has been published with the aim of compiling his works and making them accessible to the public.
