Dr. Soonu Udani, Medical Director, Narayana Health SRCC Children’s Hospital, said, “The hospital conducted series of cardiac care camps across the state of Maharashtra. The Hospital has worked very closely with various state governments including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Goa to reach out to remote villages for free cardiac camps.”

Taking the prevalence of CHD into consideration, there are an estimated 25 million (2.5 crore) children, adolescents and adults with untreated CHD in India, which poses a huge challenge and burden on the patients, their families and on society.
