Garware Technical Fibres consolidated net profit rises by 12% in FY20

Mumbai, June 30, 2020:  Garware Technical Fibres Ltd. (Formerly Garware-Wall Ropes Ltd.), a leading manufacturer of technical textiles for the Indian and global markets, has announced its financial results for the quarter and twelve months ended 31 st  March 2020. Union Bank of India announces the rollout of 125 regional offices across the country

Mumbai, 30 June 2020:  Following the recent amalgamation of Andhra Bank & Corporation Bank into Union Bank of India on April 1, 2020, Union Bank of India’s footprint has grown to include a pan-Indian network of 9500+ branches and 13,500+ ATMs. Post amalgamation, Union Bank of India is now India fifth largest public-sector bank and fourth largest banking network, with a branch in every state of the country. With the significant expansion in scale from amalgamation, Union Bank of India has rolled out a new four-tiered organization structure. The amalgamated entity’s central office (CO) will continue to be based out of its historic headquarters in Nariman Point, Mumbai. Central Office will be further supported by 18 Zonal Offices and 125 Regional Offices. 'Mission Zero' Kick Started in South Mumbai

Mumbai, 25 June 20: In order to reduce the number of Covid patients to zero, this initiative has been started today by Hon'ble Mayor Mrs KishorijiPednekar. The 'Mission Zero' initiative has now been launched in South Mumbai in collaboration with the Greater Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Bhartiya Jain Sanghtana (BJS), DeshApnayenand CREDAI-MCHIto curb the growing corona outbreak. Considering the increase in patients in some parts of Mumbai, the Corporation decided to implement Rapid Action Plan in those parts. Taking cognizance of it, this initiative was recently launched to achieve the goal of "Mission Zero". *Amount includes prize money from letter writing competition and personal contribution* Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari today made a personal donation of Rs.1 lakh to the Maharashtra Posts for the treatment of the postal staff affected by the Coronavirus Disease, Covid – 19.  A cheque of Rs. One Lakh addressed to the ‘Maharashtra Postal Circle Welfare Fund’ was handed over by the Governor to the Chief Post Master General of Maharashtra Harish Chandra Agarwal at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Tuesday (23 June).  Assistant Post Master Shrinivas Vyavahare was also present.
